MEET DR. DAVID OSTREICHER

Dr. David Ostreicher graduated from Clark University and attended Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his dental degree and certificate of specialty in orthodontics. After dental school, he continued his education and earned a his master’s of science in nutrition and a master’s in public health from Columbia.
Dr. Ostreicher is professor emeritus at Columbia University and the University of New Haven. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, American Public Health Association, and the Honorary Dental Society (OKU). After serving many years on the board of directors of the Nassau County Dental Society, he became president of the New York State Dental Association.
Dr. Ostreicher has published dozens of articles on dentistry and health, and served as editor of For Dentists Only, a scientific dental journal. His books, Brush Your Teeth! and other simple ways to stay young and healthy and 7 Reasons to Straighten Your Teeth, are available at Amazon.com. Dr. Ostreicher is also a speaker for the National Bone Health Alliance, and a lecturer for Align Technology, Inc., the makers of Invisalign®. He is the orthodontist who teaches other dentists how to use Invisalign!
Dr. David lives in Syosset. He has two daughters, Skye and Brie.
MEET DR. MCANDREWS
Dr. Bronwyn McAndrews was born and raised in New York. After attending LIU Post, she moved cross-country to attend the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where she was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, and was a member of the Southern Academy of Oral Pathology. The East Coast called her back, attending the University of Connecticut for her orthodontic residency. Following her residency, Dr. McAndrews then practiced in Fairfield Ct. for a few years, before moving back to Long Island. After practicing in Levittown for many years, she decided to join our team. Over the years, Dr. McAndrews has enjoyed membership in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, Nassau County Dental Society, and the state dental societies of New York, California and Connecticut. Dr. McAndrews comes to us with over 30 years of experience, and likes to provide conservative and comfortable treatment plans for her patients.
In her spare time, she and her husband have travelled to all seven continents, with the highlight being a honeymoon in Antarctica. They are the proud parents of twins, Tim and Tad.

DAYNETTE
Daynette worked as a dental assistant from 1989 through 1998. She enjoyed the field so much, she decided to continue her education at SUNY Farmingdale. Daynette graduated from the dental hygiene program in 1998, and has been a part of Dr. David’s team ever since. She enjoys music, fishing, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. Daynette is also a proud aunt of two nieces and four nephews.
ELIZABETH
Elizabeth has been a dental assistant with us since 2002. She has enjoyed working in the dental field since the age of 14, and really likes working with children. Elizabeth loves spending time with her son Romeo, and she also has a weakness for shopping.
KARINA
Karina has been a part of our staff as a dental assistant since 2003. She enjoys working with children and making their experience happy and memorable. She enjoys traveling to many parts of the world.
